We arrived in Maui about 3:30 PM local time. The flight in was more than bumpy, it felt like a rollercoster ride. We hit turbulence and we tossed around pretty good about 30 minutes out of Maui. I don't fly real well anyways, so this was a joy for me. Sean always told me that the airport was outside and...well...I didn't believe him. I thought no way could they have an out door airport anywhere. Well, I was wrong. Mind you, everything is under cover, but it is an open airport. I had my jacket on and pants and was very warm. After a quick change, we met up with Val's parents and we headed out. The group got a quick bit to eat and we headed to Val's Parents place who were more than nice in letting us stay the first night because the house we rented would not be available until the next day. We had our greetings with everybody, drank some frosty cold beverages, and a lot of fun. It was hot out, probably 75-80 and humid, but we were in freakin Maui, who cares. After dinner we played a little Hold 'Em and I cleared everybody out, including a very inebriated and cocky Michael Tilford. Thanks again to Val's parents for letting us stay.
