Finished off the disc brakes on my brother's 68 Polara today and everything looks good. We ran into a slight problem with the rear brakes because we could not bleed them. I think the distribution valve closed shut at some point in the conversion and would not let any fluid past it. Once we got the car running the idiot light on the dash came on saying the brakes were not working, but then it went off after hitting the brakes a few times. Ran out of time, but will bleed them again next weekend and we should be good to go. Will put them back up for sale on eBay as soon as I get the pics back and the instructions are finished off with the parts list. Doing very well so far with the B-body and E-body set-ups, excited to get the C-body sets up. Going to probably be listing the A-body ones soon as well, stay tuned!
Again, e-mail me with any questions on these and my eBay Store is at:

Good news on the C-Body Disc Brakes, the problem before was that the caliper would not fit within the wheel on my brother's Polara, which was using a 15" Magnum 500 from Stockton Wheels. We switched from a 300M rotor which was designed for a 17" wheel to a rotor from a Cordoba and we had plenty of room. Will finish off the conversion this weekend and put the brackets back on the market!

Had a great time junkyarding Monday, lots of yards on the Washington Coast. Found a real 1968 Plymouth GTX in one yard that was very restorable, you just don't find those in junkyards! They had probably 30-40 convertibles, including a restorable '68 Satellite and a not restorable 64 Valiant. Got lots of taillights and an A-Body disc brake set-up from another yard. Good luck with stuff, nothing like a full day of junkyarding. Looking forward to being able to hit some yards on the way down to eBay Live in June.
Making a trip to Aberdeen tomorrow on a parts run. One yard has a 76 Police Dart, very rare and it has some very interesting parts on it. Love these trips and it's a great way to get some inventory. Always trying to be the guy who can find anything for you! No update on the C-Body front disc brakes yet, Mark thinks he has a solution and we will try again this week. My brother wants to drive his car in this weather! Took the Polara out today for a run, nothing like driving a C-Body Mopar on a day like this!
I met Mark Janis from
Scarebird a couple of weeks ago and we are now working together to sell the Mopar front disc brake conversions on eBay and off eBay. Been doing pretty well with the B and E kits and was going to start on the C-Body ones but ran into a couple of problems with it. I did the conversion on my brother's car and unfortunately his wheels did not fit with the C-Body conversion. We are currently working on a fix for this, but for the time being the C-Body kits are off the market.
Scarebird has a full line of GM, Ford, and Mopar from disc brake kits and I am looking forward to working with him much more in the future. Look for Scarebird at the Seattle Mopar Show on May 1, 2005 at Bellevue Community College in Bellevue, WA!

Sean O'Connor suggested I start a company blog to post updates about my business and about the world of Mopars. This will keep my other blog
http://tallzag.blogspot.com/ for more personal, friend, and random stuff. For those who not know my company, Tallzag Auctions, is an eBay based business where I sell cars for people, list auctions for people, and sell my own stuff. Hope you enjoy!
