Junkyard Part #3

One thing I always do when I go to junkyards is try and find police cars. They are the Mopars I like the most and am always looking for those unique parts that were only on police cars. Last time I was in this yard I found a 1973 Dodge Polara that was a police car, this time I ran across this one. This is one of the rarest Mopar Police cars ever and one of only three years Mopar ever made a police package for a Chrysler. The wheelbase of the full-size Dodge Sedan was not big enough for CHP (California Highway Patrol) in 1962 so they decided to use these, the 1962 Chrysler Enforcer. This car has obviously been sitting for a very long time, although it might be restorable. I am pretty sure it was CHP since it has a black bottom and a white painted top. Supposedly WSP (Washington State Patrol) used these as well, but this is obviously not WSP since it would have been blue. It had the certified speedo and the white steering wheel.

restorable!? that would be something I'd want to witness.

if this car could be restored i would be determind that i could restore anything! although with many years and many many many dolars it probably could be restored.
