Auctions

One of my favorite activities is going to estate auctions. Went to an auction in Puyallup on Saturday and had a good time. The gentleman who passed away worked on cars since the 20's, guess a repair business was in his family for a long time. A lot of really cool old stuff was at the auction, here is the brochure:

I ended up getting a box of old factory service manuals, a Bud sign, an old Fram Oil Filter banner, and a bunch of shelving for pretty cheap. The coolest part of the auction was the old tools and diagnotic equipment the guy had. I was talking to the son of the gentleman and I guess the guy had a bunch of Auburn and Cord original factory testing machines! Would have loved to get a hold of one of those. Apparently the family sold those at an antique mall in Puyallup.
