Last Sunday I went to the Tacoma Sunbust show and swap meeted. You could not ask for a better day, it was 80 degrees without a cloud in the sky. Car count was awesome, somewhere around 300 cars, but the swap meet was a bit of a disappointment. Seemed smaller than last year and nobody was buying. I brought about 50/50 new stuff vs used stuff and I think I sold a pair of door handles and that was it. Was trying to sell a couple of bucket seats, a valence, and a couple of doors and nobody even asked about them all day, frustrating to say the least. Think my days of bringing big stuff to shows is over, I never sell any of it, it takes up all the room in my truck, and it is a pain to carry around. Going to Fall Fling in Los Angeles in October and going to be packing light, 90% new stuff, very little used.
Attached is a picture of a 1971 Plymouth Sport Fury Wagon. It was for sale and I had to talk myself out of buying it, it was NICE! It was a two tag car and had just about every option available. The second picture is an action shot of the Diesel, all loaded and ready to go home after a hard day of work.
