We are currently working on a disc brake conversion for the 1961-1971 Dodge D100 pickups. We just got a truck to play with this weekend and hope to have some news soon! We are also going to probably part this one out after we are done testing on it so please e-mail is if you are interested in any parts.
I had a friend tell me the other day "I would love to follow you around for a day just to see what you do." Well, here is your chance, this is a day in the life of a parts vendor, an eBay Seller, and someone who works 40 hours a week.

9:15 AM - Got up, took a shower
10:00 AM - Ate two Eggos and checked my e-mail and RSS Feeds

I was selling some
Seahawks tickets on eBay this week (GO HAWKS!) and ended up having the winning bidder have one negative for non feedback. The guy ended up not paying and I had two tickets I had to sell in two days. I have a friend who works for a company called
Stubhub.com and I decided to try and sell the ticket on that site. I went down to drop the tickets off and
Q13 (one of the local news stations) was doing a story on fraudulent tickets. They asked to interview me and since I am always trying to get free publicity for my business I agreed. I was on the 10 O'Clock news last night for about two seconds. Unfortunately they did not list my business, but it was kind of fun.
I will say this about Stubhub, I listed my tickets last night on the site for $30.00 more per ticket than I thought I would and they sold in an hour!

I don't talk about personal stuff here very often, but for all three people who read my blog on a regular basis I have a big announcement. Selling parts on eBay, to friends, and at car shows has been a hobby for a long time. I have worked a 40 hour a week job at a company called
Flex-Plan Services. I have decided to leave my job and start selling full time. This is a big jump for me and don't know how this will work out, but I will be able to spend a lot more time on the business. We have a lot of excited new products coming soon, so stay tuned. The attached picture is a picture in front of the new shop in Everett, Washington. Also, since we will have a commercial location we will be getting a Dealers License and be able to buy and sell cars! Very exiting!
I am sure most of you who will read this blog know what the
Barrett Jackson auction is. It is the biggest auction in the world, from 1/18-1/22 they are selling cars all day long, over 2,000 total. My brother and Dad are at the auction right now as well as a couple of other friends. Rumor is one of them bought a car...
Some prices for cars sold:
1978 Lil Red Express - $52,000
1969 Dodge Hemi Super Bee - $200,000
1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda - $210,000
1970 Dodge Charger 440-6 Pack, vinyl top torn, doors didn't line up, etc - $62,000
This is getting crazy, I actually had a 69 Super Bee I sold a month or two ago, maybe I didn't ask enough :O

1969 Plymouth Fury, 1972 Dodge Polara, 1971 Dodge Polara and 1973 Dodge Polara.
